Long internship heading towards an end

Just mere weeks left until my internship is over. I will have done 160 hours this semester.
I've been so exhausted. I took on some extra hours last week. I calculated and it was actually like 50 hours. If that weren't enough, I decided to add some on this week. I want to finish my internship a day early so I've decided to kill myself slowly.

I'm thinking about taking a "nap" and skipping dinner today. Need to catch up on that sleep.

My Gossip Girl Blog

Hello Upper East Siders,

New York is a city that never sleeps...especially during Fashion Week.

S is hitting the scene with P recently and it seems that a certain someone, B, is not too happy with that. Uh-oh S. You better watch your back. Those nails are perfectly manicured and sharp. Perfect for digging into someone's back. And it seems B has her eyes on yours.

It seems D has been spotted with C. What are those two doing together? Lonely boy suddenly get too lonely? We can't wait to see what kind of night those two have. Maybe it will go into the morning.

Spotted
J at Eleanor's and cutting school? Apparently, little J isn't so little anymore.

Well, you know where I'll be. I'll be watching this show from the front row of course right before I head over to Marc Jacobs. And Fashion week will end soon but that doesn't mean we need to stop being fashionable girls. So grab your Manolo Blahniks and Prada clutches. And I'll see you there. But you won't see me.

XOXO,

Gossip Girl

Where I Don't Want to Be

I am about 99.99% sure that when I grow up I won't want to work in an office. Having a laptop as a companion is seriously getting old. I'm still not sure what I want to do but I know I'm not looking to become the next female Dilbert.

A whole semester of this??

GET ME OUT!!!

Have you ever read a book that made you change the way you think about certain things? What was it?

I've been reading self help books a lot and a majority of them try to change the way you think and feel about certain things. Maybe if you think less negatively, you can finally see life through a rose coloured lens.
With fiction, it's the whole point of picking up a book - to get an experience in the hopes that you'll feel something. You know the character is not real but you still care about them.

I just answered this Featured Question; you can answer it too!

School is back in session

Hmm, I guess you're wondering what this entry is going to be about. So today is move in day. I'm not fully unpacked but I'm getting there. Yes, my summer is gone. Stolen through my very fingers. There is so much to do to prepare. There are books to be bought - EXPENSIVE books might i add. Forms to fill out. They are so tedious. It's like they lose the information you gave them last year and the year before. But when it all comes down to it...by next year when we're gone (hopefully!!!) we'll be missing this place.
